Recently, the Congressional-Executive Commission on China of the United States held a hearing and issued a report, questioning the National Security Law of  Hong Kong 
and the judicial system of HKSAR, attempting to urge the U. S. Government to impose sanction on judges of HKSAR. We condemn this.

Hong Kong is a special administrative region of the People’s Republic of China, entitled with independent judicial power, including that of final adjudication vested by the 
Basic Law of HKSAR. The judges of HKSAR exercise their judicial power independently on national security offences in accordance with the Basic Law and National 
Security Law of Hong Kong etc., consistent with the internationally recognised principle of rule of law.
 
We urge relevant parties to respect the rule of law, the judicial independence of Hong Kong as well as the basic principles of international law, to immediately stop the 
wrongful accusations of the Hong Kong judicial system and to immediately stop interfering in the internal affairs of China.
